Job summary

Redbox Teacher Recruitment Limited is hiring a Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant for a mainstream primary school in Tower Hamlets. This is a long-term supply role offering £105 per day, increasing to £131.84 after 12 weeks. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a UK classroom and the ability to manage behaviours effectively.

Responsibilities include supporting students with autism and complex needs while building positive relationships with pupils and staff. Immediate trial days can be arranged upon registration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience working with autism, challenging behaviour and complex needs.
• Experience in a UK classroom setting.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to arrange one.

Duration: Long Term Supply

Type: Full Time

Pay: £105 per day (incl stat holiday pay) increasing after 12 week term to £131.84

Location: Tower Hamlets

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum of 6 months experience working with autism, challenging behaviour and complex needs
• Experience working in a UK classroom setting
• Commitment and flexibility
• Behaviour management skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as individually
• Understanding of primary school curriculum
• Excellent work ethic and positive attitude, ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to arrange for one
• Excellent references covering at least the last 2 years of employment
• Immediate trial days arranged following registration
