Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support students with a range of additional needs across Stoke-on-Trent. You will help pupils access learning, build confidence and reach their full potential in both mainstream schools with SEN hubs and specialist SEN settings.

The role is ideal for caring, patient and adaptable individuals with a genuine passion for supporting learners with ASC, ADHD, SLCN, SEMH, and complex needs.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people—school-based experience desirable but not essential.
• Caring, patient and adaptable approach.
• Genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide vital support to pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
• Support pupils with ASC, ADHD, Speech, Language and Communication Needs, SEMH, moderate to severe learning difficulties and complex needs to participate in lessons.
