Job summary

Aspire People are currently recruiting passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to work across schools in Telford. This role offers flexible contracts including full-time, part-time, or day-to-day opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have strong SEN experience within a school setting, a patient, caring approach, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and a genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children and young people with special educational needs in a school/educational setting.
• Strong SEN experience within a school or educational setting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Supporting pupils with learning and development
• Helping to implement individual support strategies
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
• Adapting activities to meet individual needs
• Supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom
• Working closely with teachers and other school staff
• Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils
