Job summary

Aspire People Limited is actively recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a range of needs across local schools. You will play a vital role in helping pupils overcome barriers and thrive in the classroom, delivering targeted support in diverse settings.

The role involves 1:1 and small group support, promoting learning, communication and emotional regulation, and contributing to a calm, inclusive environment. DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs in school, care, or youth work.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) is required.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs.
• Support learning, communication and emotional regulation.
• Assist with personal care where required.
• Help implement behaviour and learning support plans.
• Work alongside teachers, SENCOs and external professionals.
• Create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
