Job summary

Aspire People Limited is recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant in Manchester to support pupils with Special Educational Needs. This temporary, on-site role involves assisting with personalised learning plans and helping pupils access an engaging curriculum.

You will work closely with teaching staff to foster social, emotional, and academic development in children aged 5–11 with MLD, ASD, or communication needs. Salary £90–£120/day.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEN (beneficial).
• Calm, patient and empathetic approach required.
• Genuine passion for working with children with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
• Assist with delivery of personalised learning plans.
• Help pupils to build confidence, communication and independence.
• Support positive behaviour management and inclusive practices.
• Ensure a safe, caring and supportive learning environment.
