Job summary

Supply Desk is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a busy secondary school near Chichester. The role supports pupils aged 11–16, including those with special educational needs, through one-to-one and small-group sessions, lesson prep, and progress tracking.

You will work closely with teachers to plan and deliver lessons, create learning materials, manage behaviour, and contribute to a supportive, inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Mathematics are required.
• Teaching assistance qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent communication and teamwork are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons across subjects.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, including those with SEN.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Assist in creating learning materials and resources.
• Support behaviour management and track student progress.
