Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support secondary pupils aged 11 to 16 across mainstream and SEN Unit. You will work 1:1, in small groups or in class, liaising with teachers and families to provide high-quality assistance and promote student wellbeing.

The role emphasizes safeguarding, positive behaviour management, and creating a supportive environment for learning at our partner school in the Harlow area. Training and ongoing professional development are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting secondary pupils
• Ability to work with students with additional needs across mainstream and SEN Unit
• Strong communication with teachers and families

Responsibilities

• Support secondary pupils in mainstream and SEN Unit
• Work on 1:1, small group or classroom basis
• Liaise with teachers, parents/carers and other staff
• Maintain strong behaviour management and pupil safety
• Contribute to pupil personal and academic development
