SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism Resource Provision)
Dunbar Education is working on behalf of an Autism Resource Provision (ARP) to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant. The role involves supporting a student with Autism on a 1:1 basis. The student has moderate Learning Difficulties and may display some challenging behaviour.
The main responsibilities include acting as a bridge between the student and the teacher, ensuring the student is learning, behaving appropriately, and safeguarded.
This is a full-time, long-term position for the 2024/2025 academic year. The working hours are from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, on-site during term time.
The school is located a 10-minute walk from the local train station, accessible via the underground, and offers on-site parking.
Due to the nature of the role working with a vulnerable student, candidates must have relevant experience and the right character to support this student effectively. Vetting will be conducted to ensure suitability.
