Mainstream College with Specialist Provision | Redbridge | Long-Term Position Are you a confident and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a genuine impact in a specialist setting? A well-regarded mainstream college in Redbridge is seeking a dedicated SEN TA to join their team, supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), global developmental delay, and ADHD within a specialist resource provision. About the Role: In this rewarding role, you’ll work closely with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, providing tailored support that helps them access learning in a structured, nurturing environment. Your focus will include academic engagement, social and emotional development, and communication skills, all while promoting independence and inclusion. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with ASD Assist with academic tasks and engagement strategies Support emotional regulation and social skills development Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to implement personalised learning strategies Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment Candidate Requirements: Proven experience in a secondary school or college setting Strong background supporting students with ASD on a one-to-one basis Understanding of global developmental delay and ADHD Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proactive, patient, and adaptable with a genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs Role Details: Location: Redbridge Schedule: Full-time only Monday to Friday 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM (four days a week) 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM (one day a week) Contract: Long-term position (Please note: Part-time applications will not be considered) Why Join This Team?
