SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism Resource Provision)
Dunbar Education is recruiting on behalf of an ARP to find a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a student with Autism on a 1:1 basis. The student has moderate learning difficulties and may exhibit some challenging behaviors.
The role involves acting as a bridge between the student and the teacher, ensuring the student is engaged in learning, behaves appropriately, and is safeguarded.
This is a full-time, long-term position for the 2024/2025 academic year, with working hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM during term time.
The school is conveniently located a 10-minute walk from the local train station, accessible via the underground, and offers on-site parking.
Due to the vulnerability of the student, it is essential that candidates have relevant experience and the right character to provide appropriate support. Vetting procedures will be conducted to ensure suitability for the role.
