Job description

SEN TA

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Do you have the resilience and dedication to support students with additional needs?

We are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a SEN provision, supporting students who require additional guidance to engage with learning. This is a full-time term-time only role, working Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:00.

The Role

Supporting students with SEN needs, helping them to engage with lessons and develop positive coping strategies.

  • Working closely with teachers and pastoral teams to create a structured and supportive environment.
  • Using de-escalation techniques and a positive approach to behaviour management.
  • Building strong relationships with students to help them achieve their potential.
Requirements:
  • A Teaching Assistant qualification is essential for this role.
  • A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people.
