Job summary

Teaching Personnel are partnering with a welcoming primary school in the Falmouth and Penryn area to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant for the ARB (Additional Resources Base). The role is full-time, term-time only, with start ASAP and potential to transition into a permanent school position for the right candidate, paying £14.25 per hour and located in the Falmouth/ Penryn area.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs.
• Ability to build meaningful relationships with pupils.
• Willingness to work in a school setting and adapt to routines.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Encouraging engagement in learning activities
• Supporting emotional regulation and classroom routines
• Promoting independence and confidence
• Assisting pupils with transitions and social interactions
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and support staff
