Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant in Redruth. You will support one pupil throughout the day, helping access learning and build confidence within a calm classroom environment. The role is full-time, with a September start and potential extension beyond the term.
The ideal candidate is patient, caring, calm under pressure and reliable, with a passion for helping pupils overcome barriers to learning. Prior SEN experience is desirable but not essential.

Teaching Personnel are working closely with several welcoming and supportive primary schools on the outskirts of Redruthl who are seeking dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant's to support pupils with additional needs from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building positive relationships and providing consistent support to help a child thrive both academically and emotionally.
These roles are expected to continue throughout the term, with the possibility of being extended beyond this for the right candidate.
You will work closely with one pupil throughout the school day, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and feel supported within the classroom environment.

Previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable, but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
