Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience working in schools.
• Clear understanding of safeguarding and keeping children safe in education.
• Adaptable across different year groups and primary schools in Cornwall.
• Differentiates strategies to meet learners with varying abilities, including SEND.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEN.
• Assist teachers in planning and delivering differentiated learning activities.
• Support the implementation of IEPs and personalised learning strategies.
• Encourage positive behaviour and support pupils' social, emotional, and communication development.
• Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and parents where appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to meet pupils' individual needs.
• Support personal care and wellbeing requirements where necessary.
