Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant to support students with SEN, including working 1:1 with autistic learners and implementing a personalised curriculum. The role runs Monday to Friday, 08:30–16:15, term-time only, with on-site facilities and a calm learning environment.

You will join a caring team, provide both individual and group activities, and help maintain routines and wellbeing while supporting a flexible, adaptive approach to education.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• GCSE Maths and English completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher according to planning.
• Work 1:1 with students.
• Provide group/individual activities planned by the teacher.
• Support learners to develop work.
• Support learners' wellbeing within the school's structure.
• Monitor and evaluate students' learning under teacher guidance.
• Assist in using management strategies for a purposeful environment.
• Support all learners in planned work across curriculum.
