Job summary

Randstad Staffing is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a supportive SEN setting in Reigate. You will work 1:1 with autistic students to help implement a personalised curriculum in a calm, well-resourced environment.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:15pm, term-time only, with on-site facilities including a forest school site. Training is provided and development opportunities are available to support your growth in this field.

Qualifications

• Experience working with learners with various SEN needs.
• GCSE Maths and English are required.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to learn and build relationships with learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to the teacher as per weekly/daily planning.
• Work 1:1 with students.
• Deliver group and/or individual activities planned by the teacher.
• Support learners in developing their work across curriculum areas.
• Support learners' wellbeing within the school structure.
• Monitor and evaluate students' learning under teacher guidance.
• Assist teachers with classroom management strategies to create a purposeful learning environment.
