Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as SEN Teaching Assistants or Learning Support Assistants is welcomed.
• Experience supporting pupils with autism, learning difficulties or complex SEN would be advantageous.
• Candidates with a caring, patient and compassionate approach are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with a range of SEN and complex learning needs.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support.
• Help pupils access a personalised curriculum.
• Support communication, interaction and engagement.
• Develop pupils' confidence and independence.
• Assist with personal care and wellbeing where required.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Help pupils develop life and social skills.
• Support pupils to prepare for life beyond school.
• Work closely with teachers and SEN professionals.
