1:1 SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT - YEAR 11 STUDENT
Remedy Education are currently recruiting for an experienced 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant / Behaviour Mentor to support a Year 11 male student within an Alternative Provision setting in South East London.
The student's primary need is SEMH, alongside difficulties with attention and concentration, working memory, receptive language, emotional regulation and social interaction.
We are looking for someone who is calm, confident and experienced in supporting secondary-aged students with additional needs and challenging behaviour.
The ideal candidate will:
This role would suit an experienced SEN TA, SEMH Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Mentor, Learning Mentor or Youth Worker who is confident working with teenagers who may present with challenging behaviour.
Experience in Alternative Provision, SEMH schools, specialist settings or similar environments would be highly desirable.
