Job summary

Remedy Education are seeking a strong SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Newham. You will provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN and challenging behaviours, helping them stay engaged and progress.

The role is long-term, full-time, 8:30am-4:00pm, with a daily rate of 100-115. The school offers a welcoming environment and easy access in Newham, with safeguarding procedures in place.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEN and challenging behaviour (school setting preferred).
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Good level of spoken and written English.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Full CV covering the last 10 years (with gaps explained).

Remedy Education are currently working with a fantastic primary school in Newham who are looking for a strong SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and inclusive setting.

About the Role

You will be providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN, including behavioural needs. This role is key in helping students stay engaged, regulate emotions, and make consistent progress.
