Job summary

Academics is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a mainstream primary setting in Greenhithe, Dartford. You will support pupils with ADHD and Autism, working across KS1 and KS2, and collaborate with teachers to implement individual support strategies.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm, in a welcoming school. You will help create an inclusive, engaging learning environment and make a real difference to children's academic and social progress.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ADHD and Autism.
• Patient, caring and adaptable approach.
• Confidence working across KS1 and KS2.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to helping every child thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Greenhithe, Dartford on a full-time, long-term basis.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with ADHD and Autism to achieve their full potential within a mainstream school setting.

The Role

• Provide tailored support for pupils with additional needs, particularly those with ADHD and Autism.
• Work with both small intervention groups and larger classroom groups.
• Support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement individual support strategies.
• Promote an inclusive, positive, and engaging learning environment.
