Job summary

Academics in Rochester, Kent is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with ADHD and Autism in a mainstream primary setting. The role is full-time and long-term, with a 8:30am-3:30pm schedule from Monday to Friday.

You will work with small intervention groups and whole-class delivery across KS1 and KS2, collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies and foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment for every child.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Rochester, Kent on a full-time, long-term basis.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

The Role

• Provide tailored support for pupils with additional needs, particularly those with ADHD and Autism.
• Work with both small intervention groups and larger classroom groups.
• Support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement individual support strategies.
• Promote an inclusive, positive, and engaging learning environment.
