Smile Education are recruiting a full-time Learning Support Assistant to work in a primary school in the Worcester area. You will support pupils in their learning and development, helping create a safe, inclusive classroom and positive learning environment.

The role offers a daily rate of £100-£115, PAYE and Umbrella options, and opportunities for ongoing CPD and professional support from a dedicated local consultant.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in learning, in or out of a school setting.
• Willingness to undergo compliance checks including DBS and safeguarding training.

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly primary school in Worcester on a full-time basis.

The role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other members of the school team to support pupils in their learning and development.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting children with their learning, both individually and in small groups.
• Helping pupils to develop confidence, independence and positive attitudes towards learning.
• Supporting the class teacher with activities and classroom organisation.
• Providing encouragement and reassurance to children who may need additional support.
• Helping to create a safe, welcoming and inclusive classroom environment.
• Supporting pupils' social and emotional development.
• Building positive relationships with children, staff and parents/carers.
• Contributing to the wider life of the school.
