Job summary

Vision for Education seeks a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in a large, ambitious school in the March area of Cambridgeshire. The role focuses on one-on-one support to help children access learning, build confidence, and thrive within a mainstream classroom.

Key responsibilities include tailoring 1:1 activities, assisting with emotional regulation, and working with the SENCO to implement EHCP targets, fostering independence and social interaction.

Qualifications

  • A patient, nurturing, and empathetic approach to supporting children with SEN.
  • Experience supporting children with SEN in school, care, or similar background.
  • Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with students, staff, and families.
  • Calm, resilient, and adaptable personality, capable of handling dynamic classroom needs.
  • A genuine passion for making a significant impact in the lives of children with additional needs.

SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Location: March
  • Salary: £93 to £105 per day
  • Start Date: September 2026

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a large and ambitious school in the March area of Cambridgeshire. This role involves supporting children with additional needs, providing consistent one-on-one assistance to help them access learning, build confidence, and thrive in a mainstream classroom environment.

Salary

£93 to £105 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
