Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a Chippenham classroom. You will work with the class teacher to support students with Autism, SEMH needs, and other learning difficulties, including 1:1 and small-group work.

The role is long-term, starting ASAP and running through the academic year, with duties including personal care where required and safeguarding processes in place.

About the role

SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Chippenham

Salary: £463-£500 per week

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Temporary or Permanent

The Role

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive classroom team. In this role, you will work closely with the class teacher to support students with Autism, SEMH needs, and a range of learning difficulties. Duties will include providing personal care where required, such as assisting with toileting, feeding, and general daily living tasks. You will work with students both 1:1 and in small groups. This long-term role is available for an immediate start and will run through to the end of the academic year.
