Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with additional needs in a mainstream classroom in March. The role focuses on 1:1 support, helping pupils access learning, build confidence and thrive within the school environment.

The successful candidate will work with teachers and the SENCO to implement EHCP targets, foster independence and positive behaviour, and nurture emotional regulation. Start September 2026, competitive daily pay.

SEN Teaching Assistant

• Location: March
• Salary: £93 to £105 per day
• Start Date: September 2026

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a large and ambitious school in the March area of Cambridgeshire. This role involves supporting children with additional needs, providing consistent one-on-one assistance to help them access learning, build confidence, and thrive in a mainstream classroom environment.

About the role

• Provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, or additional learning needs)
• Adapt learning activities to meet the child's individual needs and support their educational and personal development
• Assist with emotional regulation and implement positive behaviour strategies
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) targets
• Encourage independence, engagement, and social interaction to foster a supportive learning environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

Salary

£93 to £105 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
