Two Bridges Academy in England is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex needs in a specialist SEND setting. Working with the class teacher and the classroom support team, you will help deliver our holistic curriculum and foster communication, social skills, independence, and confidence.
This permanent, part-time role (13 hours per week, school terms) offers induction, training, and the chance to grow with a new expanding school that opened in 2024.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will have a vital role in making a positive impact on the lives of our students and their families. Working alongside the class teacher and the classroom support team, you will help implement our holistic curriculum, which is designed to support students in achieving their planned goals, improving communication and social skills, accessing therapeutic support, and overcoming barriers to learning.
You will be an key member of the class support team, providing both direction and support, while maintaining high standards of teaching and fostering an engaging learning environment.
You will be able to develop relationships with families and to share with them the steps of their child's educational journey.

Two Bridges Academy is a specialist SEND school that opened in September 2024 and, in a short time, has established an exceptional educational offer for our pupils. As we move towards our final phase of growth in September 2026, we are now seeking to expand our team by appointing outstanding Teaching Assistants.
We are designated as a provision for pupils with SLD and PMLD, with a large proportion of our cohort having ASC or SLCN identified as the primary need on their EHCP. Our provision is carefully adapted to meet the diverse needs of all pupils.
13 hours per week, Monday and Tuesday, 8.45am-3.45pm, term time only plus 6 Inset Days, Permanent. £9,851 - £10,701 per annum.
£32,597-£35,412 Full time equivalent, plus generous sick pay and pension scheme.
