Two Bridges Academy is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support the class teacher, TA and LSAs in delivering a holistic curriculum. You will help pupils improve communication and social skills, access therapeutic support and overcome barriers to learning.
Based in a purpose-built provision, the role includes assisting in small group learning, preparing activities, and tracking pupil progress for discussion with the class teacher. Term-time only, 32.5 hours per week.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will have a vital role in making a positive impact on the lives of our students and their families.
Working alongside the class teacher, TA and other LSAs, you will help implement our holistic curriculum, which is designed to support students in achieving their planned goals, improving communication and social skills, accessing therapeutic support, and overcoming barriers to learning.
You will play a key role as part of the class support team assisting in the delivery of learning to small groups, and taking a proactive role in preparing activities and supporting pupils to navigate the school day.
You will be instrumental in recognising and capturing the progress each pupil makes and sharing information with the class teacher.
Two Bridges Academy is a specialist SEND school that opened in September 2024 and, in a short time, has established an exceptional educational offer for our pupils. As we move towards our final phase of growth in September 2026, we are now seeking to expand our team by appointing outstanding Teaching Assistants.
We are designated as a provision for pupils with SLD and PMLD, with a large proportion of our cohort having ASC or SLCN identified as the primary need on their EHCP. Our provision is carefully adapted to meet the diverse needs of all pupils.,
32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only. Fixed Term Contract to 31st August 2027., £28,598 - £32,061 Full Time Equivalent (pay award pending) £21,606 - £24,222 actual salary. Plus generous sick pay and pension scheme.
