Castle Education is seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs across Hull and East Yorkshire, in both primary and secondary settings. Roles include 1:1 support, small-group work, and wider classroom assistance to help pupils progress in ways that are meaningful to them.

Experience from mainstream education, SEND settings, or related environments is valuable, though transferable experience is also welcomed.

Qualifications

• Patience, consistency and the ability to build trusting relationships are essential.
• Transferable experience from other settings is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs.
• Work with small groups to support learning.
• Deliver additional support within the wider classroom as required.
• Support pupils with autism spectrum, communication or other identified needs where applicable.
