  • Creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

Job description

  • Further Education Location: Stockport, Manchester Hours: 1 day per week (Mon) Contract: Temporary to Permanent Pay: £13-£15 per hour We are currently looking for a dedicated, patient and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping them achieve their full potential.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs, working closely with the class teacher and wider support team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEN
  • Supporting pupils with their learning, development and engagement
  • Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills
  • Supporting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing and engagement
