Job description

Location: Telford

Job Type: Flexible / Long‑term / Ongoing Supply

Start Date: From October 2026 onwards

Pay: £100-£120 per day

I am building a specialist SEN supply bank for Telford schools, ready for upcoming roles across mainstream primary, additional resource bases (ARBs) and specialist SEN settings.

If you're a Teaching Assistant with a genuine passion for supporting children with SEND, I would love to hear from you.

These roles are perfect if you want work that aligns with your individual strengths and preferences - whether you enjoy variety, prefer a consistent setting, or want to build your SEN experience while making a positive impact.

About the Roles

I work with a range of schools who regularly require experienced, reliable and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants. You may support pupils with:

  • Autism and communication differences
  • Speech, language and communication needs
  • Sensory processing difficulties
  • PMLD or SLD
  • Complex medical or physical needs
  • Physical disabilities and mobility needs
  • Non‑verbal communication needs

Your role may be to support children on a 1:1 basis, to work with small groups, or to support the class teacher where needed and will be to help pupils access learning, develop independence and engage positively in school life. Every setting I support takes an individualised, nurturing approach.

The Ideal Candidate

I am looking for Teaching Assistants who are:

  • Experienced in supporting children or young people with SEND
  • Patient, caring and calm
  • Confident supporting pupils with significant learning or communication needs
  • Resilient and positive
  • Strong team players
  • Committed to safeguarding and professional boundaries
  • Reliable, flexible and enthusiastic

Experience of autism, PMLD, SLD or physical disabilities is beneficial, but I also welcome candidates with transferable experience and the right attitude.

When you work with me, you can expect…

Choosing to work with me means choosing a recruitment experience that is calm, personal and genuinely supportive.

I am proud to be a GCA Framework Supplier and REC Audited, giving you complete confidence that my safeguarding and compliance processes meet the highest standards.

You can expect:

  • To be listened to and understood
  • Clear, honest communication
  • Roles that genuinely fit your strengths and preferences
  • Ongoing support and regular check‑ins
  • A calm, ethical experience rooted in integrity
  • Someone who advocates for you and champions your strengths

My goal is simple: to make your working life easier, more stable and more fulfilling.

Safeguarding & Compliance

I am committed to safeguarding children and young people. As a REC Audited recruiter, my processes have been independently verified to ensure they meet strict safeguarding and compliance standards.

All applicants will complete full vetting checks, including Prohibited List, Barred List, DBS and qualification verification. It is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with children.

What I'm Looking For
  • Are committed to safeguarding
  • Understand professional boundaries
  • Share values of integrity, professionalism and inclusivity
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Create safe, supportive learning environments
  • Engage fully with compliance requirements
