TeacherActive is seeking an LSA for a SEMH school in Telford to support pupils across primary and secondary phases. The role requires supporting learning, emotional regulation and behaviour in a nurturing classroom.

The successful candidate will join a supportive team, with immediate start and long-term placement. PAYE staff, with market-leading pay and ongoing CPD opportunities as part of the onboarding process.

Salary: £100 - £120 per day

Are you an experienced LSA looking to support children and young people with SEMH needs? Do you have the patience and resilience to support pupils with cognitive and behavioural difficulties? Are you passionate about helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEMH school based in Telford, who are looking for an LSA to join their supportive team. The school provides a nurturing and structured environment for primary and secondary aged pupils, supporting students with cognitive behavioural issues and helping them develop confidence and independence.

The school is looking to take on an LSA on a long‑term basis with an immediate start. The successful LSA will be supporting pupils across primary and secondary age groups, helping students with their learning, emotional regulation, behaviour support and development within the classroom environment.

The successful LSA will have:

• Experience supporting children and young people within an education or care setting
• Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs or challenging behaviour
• Understanding of cognitive and behavioural difficulties
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
