Job summary

The setting provides a supportive and inclusive environment focused on helping each pupil develop their confidence, independence and engagement with learning.

The setting is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant for day-to-day opportunities with the potential to move into a long-term position. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils across different age groups, assist with learning and daily classroom activities, and work closely with teaching staff to provide consistent support based on individual needs.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND

• Experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs

• Confidence working with pupils across different age groups

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• The ability to adapt to different pupils, classes and situations
