Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a SEND setting in Shrewsbury. The role involves day-to-day support for pupils aged 2-19, across Early Years to Post-16, aiding learning and classroom activities. You will work closely with teachers to tailor support to individual needs.

The salary is £95-£115 per day, with a dedicated team offering 24/7 onboarding help, CPD courses, and a referral scheme. The position offers potential for long-term progression within the setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND.
• Experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.
• Confidence working with pupils across different age groups.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to adapt to different pupils, classes and situations.
