Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a SEND setting in the ST7 area of Stoke-on-Trent. The role supports pupils across different Key Stages, assisting with learning and behaviour management in a structured environment focused on helping pupils engage positively with their education.

The successful Teaching Assistant will be employed on a long-term basis with an immediate start, paid on a PAYE basis, and will work closely with teaching staff to tailor support to individual needs and help pupils engage

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND.
• Experience supporting pupils with Autism / ASD and SEMH needs.
• Experience working across different Key Stages.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A resilient, patient and adaptable approach.

Salary: £95 - £115 per day

Do you have experience working with pupils with Autism / ASD and SEMH needs?

Are you confident adapting your approach to support pupils across different Key Stages?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a SEND setting in the ST7 area of Stoke-on-Trent supporting pupils with Autism / ASD and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The setting supports pupils across mixed Key Stages and provides a structured environment focused on helping each pupil engage positively with their education.

The setting is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils across different Key Stages, assist with learning and behaviour management, and work closely with teaching staff to provide consistent support tailored to individual needs.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND
• Experience supporting pupils with Autism / ASD and SEMH needs
• Experience working across different Key Stages
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A resilient, patient and adaptable approach
