Job summary

Teach360 is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant for a long-term position in Hounslow, starting ASAP. The successful candidate will support students on a 1:1 basis, with severe ASD, complex needs, and Down syndrome, in an outstanding school environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of SEN experience, including personal care, and ideally Team Teach/physical intervention training. This is a long-term contract with daily rates of 115–120 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with students with special needs.
• Experience assisting with personal care.
• Team Teach/Physical intervention training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to students with severe ASD and complex needs.
• Assist with personal care and daily routines as required.
• Support classroom activities in a SEN college setting.

The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant - Hounslow

We are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a Special Needs College from as soon as possible. You will have at least 1 years' experience working with students on the Autistic Spectrum, Complex Needs and/or Down Syndrome and have experience helping with personal care. For this SEN Teaching Assistant role you will also ideally need previous experience using PECs and Makaton.
