Job summary

Teach360 is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a Special Needs College in Hounslow for an ASAP start. The role involves supporting students 1:1 with severe ASD, complex needs, Down syndrome, and assisting with personal care.

PECs and Makaton training would be beneficial; Team Teach/Physical intervention training preferred. Prospective candidates should have at least 1 year of SEN experience and a passion for helping learners aged 11-16.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with students with special needs.
• Experience supporting 1:1 with ASD, complex needs or Down syndrome.
• Team Teach/Physical intervention training preferred.

Responsibilities

The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant - Hounslow

We are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a Special Needs College from as soon as possible. You will have at least 1 years' experience working with students on the Autistic Spectrum, Complex Needs and/or Down Syndrome and have experience helping with personal care. For this SEN Teaching Assistant role you will also ideally need previous experience using PECs and Makaton.
