Job summary

Teach360 is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for a long-term role in Camden. You will provide 1:1 support to students with ASD, complex needs and Down syndrome, with an emphasis on personal care where required.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of SEN experience, and familiarity with PECs and Makaton is preferred. The school is rated Outstanding by Ofsted and offers a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with students with special needs.
• Experience assisting with personal care.
• PECs and Makaton experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to students with ASD, complex needs and Down syndrome.

The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant - Camden

We are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a Special Needs College from as soon as possible. You will have at least 1 years' experience working with students on the Autistic Spectrum, Complex Needs and/or Down Syndrome and have experience helping with personal care. For this SEN Teaching Assistant role you will also ideally need previous experience using PECs and Makaton.
