Job summary

Teach Plus Limited in Tower Hamlets is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs on an ASAP start. This is a full-time position rooted in a welcoming primary school environment.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups, collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure pupils access the curriculum and express themselves confidently. Experience with autism, ADHD, SEMH or complex needs is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous UK school experience is essential.
• Strong SEN experience is highly desirable.
• Experience supporting autism, ADHD, SEMH or complex needs would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

About the role and school

Teach Plus are currently working with a supportive primary school in Tower Hamlets who are looking to appoint a strong and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for an ASAP start.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who is confident supporting pupils with additional needs and wants to secure a long-term position within a welcoming primary school.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be expected to provide high-quality support both within the classroom and on a 1:1 or small-group basis where required. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support team to ensure pupils receive consistent support throughout the school day.

The school is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who is reliable, proactive and able to build strong relationships with pupils. Experience supporting autism, ADHD, challenging behaviour or complex learning needs would be particularly advantageous.
