Prospero Teaching is recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to work with autistic children in a Bournemouth area school. The role involves one-to-one support for children with Autism and additional learning needs, with a focus on compassionate and skilled assistance.

Start ASAP for a long-term, full-time position. Experience in UK schools and safeguarding training are valued, with an 8:00am–4:00pm schedule and around £140 per day pay.

Are you an experienced Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children on a 1:1 basis?

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to work with autistic children in a fantastic school located in the Bournemouth area.

We work in partnership with schools across the Bournemouth area who require compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistants with experience supporting children with Autism and additional learning needs on a one-to-one basis.

Experienced Teaching Assistants, as well as candidates looking to develop their career within SEND education, are always welcome to apply.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS, NVQ, Cache or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a UK school
• Experience working with SEND students, particularly those with ASD
• A genuine interest in supporting children with ASD and complex learning needs
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as training for this can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional, child-related references
