Academics in London is seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in Ealing. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, work with teachers and the SEN team, and help pupils with academic, social and emotional development in inclusive classrooms.

Ideal candidates have experience with SEN such as Autism or ADHD, a patient and resilient demeanor, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping learners succeed.

SEN Teaching Assistant - Ealing

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in Ealing? Do you have experience supporting children and young people with additional needs and a genuine desire to help pupils reach their full potential?

Academics are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to join supportive and inclusive schools across Ealing, working with pupils who may have a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties and complex learning needs.

The Role
  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs
  • Work closely with class teachers and the wider SEN team
  • Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development
  • Assist with interventions and differentiated learning activities
  • Help create a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment
  • Support pupils in developing confidence, independence and communication skills
  • Full-time opportunities available, with immediate and September starts
The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable
  • Experience with Autism, ADHD, SEMH or other additional needs is advantageous
  • A patient, resilient and nurturing approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children to succeed
  • Teaching Assistant, Psychology, Education, Health & Social Care or related qualifications are beneficial
  • Graduates with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply
