Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Progress Partner (SEND Teaching Assistant) to support pupils with SEND in a specialist educational setting. This full-time role starts in September with immediate availability for the right candidate.

You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to support learning plans, promote positive behaviour, and nurture emotional wellbeing. DBS checks are essential, and you will start as part of a dedicated team focused on helping students reach their

Qualifications

  • Previous SEND experience within a school or educational setting.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate.
  • Registered on the DBS Update Service.
  • Available to start immediately and commit to a September start.
  • Strong communication skills and a patient, nurturing approach.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.

Progress Partner (SEND Teaching Assistant)

Salary: £20,000 - £23,800 per annum

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Progress Partner (SEND Teaching Assistant) to join a specialist educational setting supporting children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEND professional who is passionate about helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

The Role
  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND.
