Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them reach their full potential? Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Honiton from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is patient, compassionate, and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and wider school team to provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs. You may work on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, or within the wider classroom, helping pupils access their learning and develop their confidence and independence.
The role would suit someone with previous SEND experience, but we are also keen to hear from candidates with a strong interest in supporting children with additional needs.
Position: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Honiton, Devon
Start Date: September 2026
Role Type: Full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 3:15pm
Contract: Long-term opportunity
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience and qualifications
Working Pattern: Term Time Only
Experience supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, communication difficulties, or learning difficulties would be particularly beneficial, but is not essential.
