• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working with children with SEN, particularly within KS1
• Understanding of SEN conditions such as ASD, ADHD or SEMH
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach
• A 'can-do' attitude and willingness to support across the classroom

Responsibilities

• Support children with SEN within a KS1 classroom and help deliver tailored interventions.
• Maintain engagement and provide targeted support throughout the school day.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to implement individual education plans.

Salary: £95 - £110 per day

The school is looking to take on a full time, long term SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a KS1 classroom. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be supporting children with a range of additional needs, helping to deliver tailored interventions and ensuring pupils remain engaged and supported throughout the school day.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience working with children with SEN, particularly within KS1
• A strong understanding of supporting children with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD or SEMH
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach
• A 'can-do' attitude and willingness to support across the classroom
