Job summary

Choice Teachers are recruiting a Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant for a South Cambridge setting. You will support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, helping with communication and life skills in a highly personalised SEN environment.

We seek energetic, hands-on candidates with a genuine interest in working with young people with additional needs. DBS required; full-time, term-time schedule; 8:30am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• This role requires energetic, enthusiastic and hands-on approach.

Choice Teachers are working with a specialist SEN education setting in South Cambridge to recruit a Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is energetic, hands on and keen to develop a career within specialist education.

The setting supports young people with complex learning needs and additional needs, providing a highly personalised approach to education and development.

You will work as part of a close team, supporting pupils both academically and with their wider personal development, communication and independence.

The Role

We're Looking For

• Previous SEN, care, education, youth work or support experience is ideal but not essential

• A full driving licence would be advantageous but not essential

• Enhanced DBS required

• Must be available full time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm
