ABC Teachers is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to work in Central Birmingham on a part-time basis.

About The Role

• The SEN Teaching Assistant role is part-time with an immediate start with the possibility to be ongoing for the right candidate.
• As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting students' educational, social, and emotional development.
• Being part of a growing team and school and promoting the school’s values.

About You

To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant position, you will:

• Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs and behavioural challenges.
• Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
• Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students
• Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
