Job Opportunity: Full-Time Teaching Assistant (TA) for SEN Provision

We are currently recruiting for a full-time TA position at a SEN provision in South Shropshire.

The start date is ideally 22/04/2024, with the role expected to last through the Summer term. There is potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

About the School

The school includes a home and a special school, providing education and care for young people with Autism aged 11-18. Additional needs may include Anxiety Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Emotional Difficulties, and Attachment Conditions.

Role Responsibilities

• Support students in KS4/5, sometimes on a 1:1 basis or whole class support.
• Experience working with children with Autism is preferred.
• Full-time hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.

About the School Environment

• Maximum of 6 pupils per class.
• Classes staffed with teachers and multiple TAs.
• Various teaching methods, including formal classroom settings.
