You will work with teachers to deliver targeted interventions in a nurturing, inclusive environment, ideal for experienced TAs, graduates, or aspiring teachers seeking valuable classroom experience while pursuing training.

An Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ school in Bicton is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a highly rewarding opportunity within a supportive school environment. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will need to communicate with students in a supportive and motivating way, helping to build strong, trusting relationships that enable them to thrive.

This role is well suited to experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates, or aspiring teachers who are looking to gain valuable experience before pursuing teacher training.

We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who:

• Has previous experience working with children with additional needs, or a strong desire to do so
• Is able to follow EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans) or other personalised learning plans
• Demonstrates a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs
• Can create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment that supports every child’s development
• Shows patience, empathy, and understanding when supporting diverse learning needs
• Takes a proactive and flexible approach, adapting to different situations and challenges
