Job summary

Remedy Education is recruiting a dedicated SEN Teacher for immediate starts in Billericay. You will work across primary and secondary SEN settings, delivering tailored lessons to support pupils with additional needs and EHCP targets.

Qualifications

Candidate must hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
PGCE or equivalent training is required.
Experience or strong interest in SEN education is desirable.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
Teach pupils across primary and/or secondary SEN settings depending on placement.
Adapt curriculum content to meet a wide range of needs and abilities.
Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.
Build positive, consistent relationships with pupils to support engagement and progress.
Use strategies to support communication, behaviour, and emotional regulation.
Work closely with SEN support staff, therapists, and wider school teams.
Monitor, assess, and report pupil progress in line with school expectations and EHCP targets.
