Job summary

TeacherActive Limited. is seeking a SEN Teacher in Gillingham for a full-time, long-term position. The role involves leading diverse subjects, planning engaging lessons, and adapting teaching methods to support pupils with ASD in a supportive SEN setting.

The role offers PAYE pay with daily rates and onboarding through a dedicated consultant team, plus CPD courses and a referral scheme. DBS checks and safeguarding compliance are part of the process.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Experience in a Primary or SEN setting is essential.
• Experience supporting pupils with Autism / ASD is essential.
• Ability to plan and lead lessons across different subjects.
• Patient, adaptable and positive approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead different subjects and deliver engaging lessons.

South East/ temporary / £182 - 248 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an SEN setting in Gillingham that supports pupils with Autism / ASD. The setting is focused on providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment where pupils can access education tailored to their individual needs.

The school is looking to take on a full-time SEN Teacher on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful SEN Teacher will be responsible for leading different subjects, planning and delivering engaging lessons, and adapting teaching approaches to support pupils with ASD.

The successful SEN Teacher will have:

• QTS
• Experience working within a Primary or SEN setting
• Experience supporting pupils with Autism / ASD
• The ability to plan and lead lessons across different subjects
• A patient, adaptable and positive approach
