Supply Desk Ltd is recruiting SEND teachers to join our specialist pool serving Sussex schools, including Brighton and surrounding areas. You will plan and deliver differentiated lessons and support pupils with autism, SEMH and other needs.
Ideal candidates may be experienced SEND teachers, mainstream teachers with SEND experience, or an ECT seeking to develop specialist practice; we offer flexible day-to-day, short-term and long-term placements with dedicated consultant support.

Supply Desk is building a specialist pool of SEND Teachers to support schools and specialist settings across Sussex.
We are looking for passionate teachers who have experience supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs, including autism, SEMH, complex needs, communication difficulties and behavioural needs.
This could be an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEND Teacher, a mainstream teacher with strong SEND experience, or an ECT looking to develop their specialist practice.
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons
Support pupils with a range of SEND
Develop personalised learning approaches
Support EHCP targets and individual learning plans
Deliver targeted interventions
Promote communication, independence and emotional regulation
Work closely with SENDCos and specialist staff
Monitor and record pupil progress
Adapt resources and learning activities
Support positive behaviour strategies
Build strong relationships with pupils
Liaise with colleagues, parents and external professionals where required
QTS or recognised equivalent
Experience working with pupils with SEND
Strong understanding of inclusive teaching
Experience with autism, SEMH or complex needs advantageous
Patient, nurturing and resilient approach
Strong behaviour management skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively
